Elizabeth "Jewel" Wilhelm
April 1, 1931 - August 30, 2021

Elizabeth "Jewel" Harris (Strunk) Wilhelm passed away on August 30, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She is survived by her sister Eileen Richardson: three sons: Calvin Robert Wilhelm III and his wife Sirinda; Thomas Wilhelm and Jeffrey Wilhelm; 8 grandchildren: dayna ew juraschek, Megan Nichols and husband Matthew, Jennifer Dragos and husband Justin, Meagan Wilhelm, Thomas Wilhelm, Jenna Wilhelm, Annika Wilhelm and Matthew Wilhelm; and her 6 great grandchildren Evelyn and Eliza Juraschek, Hunter, Hyden and Harper Nichols, and Makenna Dragos.

Born on April 1, 1931 in Camden NJ to Theodore George and Elizabeth Hoffman (Mayberry) Strunk, Jewel lived long life of 90 years. She was a hard worker and held many jobs but the one she was most proud of was working at the Pensacola Air Station, home of the Blue Angels. She had a green thumb, made tasty food, loved square dancing and renovating homes. If her life was color it would be pink. She traveled throughout the world and lived in many places, but her favorite place was Beachwood NJ where she grew up.

Always prim and proper she taught her granddaughters the best of manners and how to set the table. Her dinner "parties" are fondly remembered by the eldest of her granddaughters She loved engaging with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially when they were babies ,with rhymes and pattycake. She loved music, to sing and hear her granddaughters sing. Her love of a good lipstick was passed on through the generations.

Her last days were spent in Stillwell, KS where she moved to be closest to the youngest of her grandchildren and two of her sons. She was lovingly cared for by her son Jeffery Wilhelm until she left to be with the Lord.
