Wendy Lopez-Bishop

Wendy Ann Lopez-Bishop, age 71, of Gulf Breeze, was called home April 13,2022.  She was born December 27, 1950 in Manhattan Beach, California.  Wendy was a graduate of Mira Costa High School, in Manhattan Beach, California class of 1969.  In 1972 she obtained her associate degree in Child Development from Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Following her years as a pre-school teacher, she worked in the restaurant industry. She was a proud U.S. Army Veteran where she served in Germany as a truck driver.  Among her many talents she enjoyed jewelry making, arts & crafts, history, and genealogy.

Wendy is preceded in death by her parents George and Mabel Middleton; and her son, Jason Luis Lopez.  She is survived by her husband Terry Bishop of Gulf Breeze, Florida; daughter, Heather Lopez of Colorado; grandsons, Aiden and Isaiah Lopez both of Pensacola, Florida; granddaughters, Reagan, Brody, and Ramona Weese of Chanute, Kansas, her biological father, Lou Lavison (Jan) of Placentia, California;  and a host of extended family and friends.
