Timothy Cochis

Timothy J. Cochis, aged 79 years, died peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Covenant Care, West Florida Hospice, Pensacola, Florida.

Timothy leaves behind three children:  Julia, Michael and Shaun and five grandchildren:  Geoffrey, Aidan, Sofia, Olivia and Raquel.

Timothy proudly served as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1972. His duty stations included Naples, Italy – where hit met his British wife, Margaret Huggins, deceased.  After Timothy left the U.S. Navy, he worked for private industry in the U.S. and England and then served in the Federal civil service for the remainder of his career.

Timothy loved Pensacola ever since attending pre-flight school at the Naval Air Station and was renowned around the Tiger Point neighborhood for his gardening, bike rides and walks. Timothy, a loving dad and grandad, may he rest in peace forever.

There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Parish, Gulf Breeze, a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:00 PM.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Association are welcomed in lieu of other tributes.
