Rosemary Williams

February 22, 1931 — June 6, 2022

Rosemary Wade Guenther Williams was born February 22, 1931 to Laverne William Guenther and Ruby Wade Guenther in Mansfield, Ohio.  Rosemary attended the University of Maryland where she met the love of her life, Raymond Lee Williams, a United States Navy Ensign.  Rosemary and Raymond were married June 7th, 1953 at the University of Maryland Chapel with a formal military ceremony.  The family has celebrated Raymond and Rosemary’s 69th wedding anniversary.  Raymond and Rosemary were stationed in Guam and throughout the United States over his 20 year career with the Navy where he retired as a Commander.  Raymond and Rosemary had two daughters over this period, Deborah Ann and Cynthia Lynn.  Rosemary was a middle school teacher at Gulf Breeze Middle School for over 20 years before retiring.  Rosemary and Raymond loved to play bridge and enjoyed a close knit group of friends who were also lovers of bridge for over 40 years.  Rosemary was a loving and dedicated wife and mother to her entire family which included her loving husband Raymond, daughters, Debbie and Cindy, grandchildren Danny, Shelley, Sarah, and Christina, and great grandchildren, Tyler, Charlotte and Leonardo.  She is survived by her husband Raymond, daughter Debbie, and her husband Roy, their son, Danny, and his wife Autumn and their son Tyler.  Shelley and her husband Frank and their son Leonardo.  Daughter Cindy and Peter and their children Sarah and Christina.  Sarah’s husband Andrew and their daughter Charlotte.  A private family ceremony will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home and Rosemary will be interred at Barrancas National Cemetery at Pensacola Naval Air Station.
