Louise Ballew

Louise Ballew, age 87, of Gulf Breeze, was called home August 21, 2020. She was born on June 30, 1933, in Greenville, SC to the late John Thomas and Grace Emma Collins. Louise was known for her dedication to her family as well as being a skilled seamstress. She often made beautiful clothes for herself and her daughters. Louise liked to play bridge with her friends and she taught children’s Sunday school for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mac Ballew; and her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Hal (Sabrina) Ballew of Tallahassee, FL, Leslie (Steve) Kronlage of Gulf Breeze, FL and Mary Allison (Frank) Mullis of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Will Ballew, Sam Ballew, Reece Bloomberg, Riley Bloomberg, Morgan Kronlage, and Max Kronlage; and a host of extended family and close friends.

A private graveside service was held at Barrancas National Cemetery on Monday, August 24, 2020.
