James Waller

James H. Waller, age 75, of Gulf Breeze, was called home peacefully with his family at his side, August 10, 2021.  He was born with a twin sister on August 28, 1945, in Franklin, TN to the late Opal Spears Waller.  James was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran, where he served in Vietnam.  He was a truck driver by trade and in his off time enjoyed fishing and Alabama “Roll Tide” Football.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hendrix.  Those left with fond memories are his children, Steven Waller of Gulf Breeze, FL, John Waller of Mary Esther, FL, Matthew Waller of Montgomery, AL; step-son, Bobby Hendrix of Murfreesboro, TN, and step-daughter Michelle Hendrix; sisters, Janie Campbell, Reba Cook and Marina Layhew, all of TN; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00am until the memorial service begins at 12:00pm, on Wednesday, September 08, 2021, at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563.  Interment will follow with military honors at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola FL.
