Fredi F Holyfield

March 15, 1952 ~ July 2, 2020 (age 68)


Fredi F. Holyfield- Age 68, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2020 due to a hemorrhagic stroke.

She was born in Sikeston, Missouri on March 15, of 1952 to Carlan & Burt Femmer, who preceded her in death.

She married and is survived by Carl Price Holyfield Jr. on Nov.25, 1981, wife of 39 years; daughter, Lee Ann Kimbrell & Brian Kimbrell; stepson Tony & Theresa Martin;

grand- children Todd Lee Metheny, Robert D. Bornmann, Jessica Roxanne Bornmann, and Tyler Martin; great- grandson's Preston & Jameson Sargent. 

She was the sister of Terry Femmer, also deceased, still living sister Carol & brother-in-law Steve Frank of McKinney, Tx.  She was the aunt to Leslie & Jeff Welsh and had 4 grand- nephews. Jackson, Javin, Joseph,and Jude. She is also survived by cousin Jeff Stone of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Fredi loved life. She always had a twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes. 

Her lifelong passions for children led here through her astounding 38 year teaching career where she worked both in Missouri and Tennessee for many years. 

Fredi was a kind and loving person

She was a high standing member of her communities joining the American Legion, the VFW, and many other clubs, and participated in many community activities and events.  She loved the water, all animals, and especially her dog Lucky.

She lived her life with passion and made each day with an unforgettable smile. She led a well lived life.

Fredi loved her friends and memories that she accumulated over these years of her life, will lead her into the next with only fond memories.


Truly loved, truly missed, you will forever be in our hearts.
