Eugene "Geno" Medve

November 21, 1931 — February 17, 2020

Gulf Breeze, Florida

Eugene “Geno” Alexander Medve, age 88, of Gulf Breeze, passed away with his son at his side on February 17, 2020.  He was born on November 21, 1931, in Bethlehem, PA to the late Alexander and Elizabeth Medve.  Gene grew up in Bethlehem, PA and moved to Pueblo, CO where he played and taught accordion.  He worked at the Colorado State Hospital as a Computer Programmer.  Gene loved and supported his family.  His greatest joy was caring for his family and being a grandpa to Colton.  Gene was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed playing pool.

He is preceded in death by his son, Gregory “Greg” Eugene Medve; and his parents, Alexander “Alex” Eugene Medve and Betty “Liz” Elizabeth Medve.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Martin S. Medve; grandchildren, Mark Alexander Medve, Colton Casados-Medve, and Larissa Michelle Medve; daughter-in-law, Oxana Medve; ex-spouse, Patricia Ann Medve; and close family members, Sharon Casados and Brandon Casados.
