Ellen Doherty

Doherty, Ellen Veronica on August 18, 2022 at 63 years of age.
Loving daughter of the late Helen (nee Barr) Doherty and the late William Doherty. Cherished sister of Teresa Marie Doherty and William Barr Doherty. Adored aunt to nieces Tara Balcazar-Bradley, Sydney Meleah Busby, Emily Aubin Doherty and Olivia Fay Doherty. Doting auntie to grand-nieces Caitlin Marie Bradley and Anna Grace Bradley.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, on the 22nd of October 1958; Ellen, with her family, relocated to Gulf Breeze, Florida where she completed her college accounting and finance degrees. She took a job and relocated to New York City where she worked with several banking and financial institutions ultimately accepting and excelling in a challenging position with the United States Treasury Department.

Her family was at the very core of her heart. She loved, and was blessed by, her many many aunts, uncles and cousins. She adored and was so very proud of her lovely nieces and grand-nieces. She could meticulously describe each’s personality and
thrived on sharing each of their goals and accomplishments. Ellen lost her long and difficult fight with cancer. She leaves her Earthly being and joyfully arrives to countless family and friends who are there to meet her at Heaven’s gates.

May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
