Austin Reuschle

July 24, 1998 — May 17, 2020

Navarre

Austin Chad Reuschle, 21, of Navarre, Florida, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 17, 2020.  Austin was born on July 24, 1998 on Andrews Air Force Base, Washington D.C.

Austin’s first home was Lajes Field, Azores, a small group of islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.  When he was 1, his family moved to Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, where he learned to enjoy all things creepy crawly – as any true southern boy.  In 2002, Austin and his family moved to Aviano Air Base, Italy.  There, Austin learned to snowboard and discovered his love of cold weather climates.  He always dreamed of going to Alaska one day.  When Austin was in 3rd grade, his family moved to Navarre, Florida and decided to make it their forever home.  He graduated from Navarre High School in 2016 and proceeded to enroll at Pensacola State College where he studied Computer Programming.  Austin was the developer of Eg! The Game and Sno Day on the Roblox Game Platform.  He completed an internship in game development from September 2019 to December 2019 at the Roblox Corporation in San Mateo, California.  His friends in the Roblox community knew him best as Nimblz.

Austin is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Paul F. Reuschle; Grandfather, Neil Burk; Grandmother, Gail Lee Burk; Great Uncle Len Lee; Uncle Michael Sanders; and Aunt Sabrina Burk.

Austin is survived by his parents, Chad and Chastity Reuschle; sister, Jordan Reuschle; Grandmother, Patricia Reuschle; cousin Shane Sanders, all of Navarre, Florida; Aunt and Uncle Christine and Charles Capasso; cousins, James Paul and Kaleigh Capasso of Ballston Spa, New York; cousin, Simona Sanders of Oakland, California; cousin, Zoe Sanders of Rochester, New York; cousins, Logan Wheeler and Landon and Romy Wheeler of Burleson, Texas; cousin, Courtney Epperson of Gun Barrel City, Texas; girlfriend, Hazel Hallada of Navarre, Florida; and a multitude of additional family members and close friends.

Services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 with visitation and viewing beginning at 11:00 am proceeded by the funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, Florida.  The funeral service will be available to view by live-stream through Rose Lawn’s Tribute page for those unable to attend.  Pete Belmain, Associate Pastor of Midway Baptist Church will be officiating.  Burial will be immediately following at Rose Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Austin’s father, Chad Reuschle; uncle, Charles Capasso; cousin, Shane Sanders; friends, Josh Patton, Kenny Herrholz, Michael Whelchel, Jr., and Connor Gavitt.  Honorary Pallbearers will be family friends, Timothy McWatters and Bobby Swim.

Austin’s family will be setting up a scholarship fund for high school students interested in computer sciences.  Details will be provided once all arrangements have been made.

The family of Austin would like to  extend our sincerest thanks to the Roblox Community, Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, Leonardo DRS, Lifeguard EMS, Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office and all of the family and friends who have shown such amazing support through this difficult time.
