Yvonne Bonifay Strouse

Yvonne Bonifay Strouse, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026. Born on March 1, 1937, in Pensacola, Florida, she was the beloved daughter of E.F. and Eva Bonifay.

Yvonne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was loving and caring for her family. She had a passion for skiing, sewing, cooking, and crafting, and she shared her talents and warmth generously with those around her. Her kindness, creativity, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Joseph Strouse, Sr.; her son, Christopher Eugene Strouse; her parents, E.F. and Eva Bonifay; and her brother, Clinton Bonifay.

Yvonne is survived by her son, Sidney Joseph Strouse, Jr. and his wife, Teri Strouse; her daughter, June Bresnahan; and her cherished grandchildren, April Trogg, Rachel Strouse, Melissa Saeger, Joel Haskins, and Hannah White. She also leaves behind four beloved great-grandchildren: Emma Bartley, Vance Saeger, Breaker Trogg, and Ava Strouse.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
