Vaughn was born July 25, 1932, in rural Marshall County, Minnesota, deceased April 6, 2017
He was a resident of Gulf Breeze, Florida since 1978; U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Vaughn was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude; son, Mitchell V. Hanson, brother, Gene Hanson, sister, Phyllis Johnson and in childhood Franklin and Henry, Jr., Hanson.
He is Survived by daughters Laurie Jo (Tom) Johnson of Racine, WI; Michelle (Tom) Christian of Sturtevant, WI; Leslie (David) Simpson of Gulf Breeze, FL; Kris (Tim) Kirchgessner of Huntsville, AL; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; brother Keith Hanson of Pewaukee, WI; sisters Shirley Anderson, Pensacola, FL and Sheila Foster, Burnsville, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Vaughn retired in 1993 after 29+ years as Director of Data Processing at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL. He was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan.
Those who knew him loved him, he will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on April 28th, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Following the funeral service, there will be a DVD Memorial, and refreshments will be served at 11:00. At 11:45 AM there will be a processional departure, with escort, to Barrancas National Cemetery, where services will be held at 12:30 PM.
