Thomas Read, Sr.

Thomas Walker Read, Sr., beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 6, 2014 with family by his side. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 38 years, Vicky and children Maryern Einck and family of Iowa; Thomas W. Read, Jr. and family; Matthew Read and family of Michigan; Dawn Ledesma and family of California and several other family members and many friends. Thomas was preceded in death by his sister Merrild High and parents Betty and Louis Read. Tom was educated in Michigan, served in the U.S. Army and later attended Bible College in Louisiana. He was devoted to his family and to his Lord Jesus Christ, sharing the Gospel message in both Santa Rosa Correctional and Blackwater State Prisons through prison ministry. His heart and home were always open to ministry and One on One men's discipleship. Please meet the family and join us in celebrating his life at Coastline Calvary Chapel, 1122 Oriole Beach Rd., Gulf Breeze, FL , on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory can be made to the Radio Station Ministry at Coastline Calvary Chapel.
