Steve Piskun

Steven Piskun, of Gulf Breeze, FL, died November 10, 2014 at the age of 53. Born May 13, 1961 to Robert Piskun and Sharon (Hayes) Piskun, he grew up in Grand Rapids, MI. After moving to Wisconsin to manage jewelry stores for several large companies, Steve became a lifelong Wisconsin Badger fan. He and his wife Terri moved to Gulf Breeze in 2007. Steve enjoyed being active in his community, including leading a middle school life group through Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, participating in the Elks Lodge of Pensacola Beach, and volunteering with Pathways for Change. Steve was a loving husband to his wife Terri Smith; an amazing father to his daughter Caroline Piskun, her fiancé Tyler Wood, and his son Matthew Piskun all of Madison, WI; a caring son to father Robert Piskun of Newaygo, MI; and a wonderful brother to Jim Piskun of Three Rivers, MI, and Valerie Dennany of St. Petersburg, FL. He was beloved as well by numerous other family and friends. A celebration of Steve's life will be held Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, 75 Fairpoint Dr., Gulf Breeze. There will be a gathering at 2:00 pm, and a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pathways for Change, 2050 W. Blount St., Pensacola, FL 32501.
