Shirley Toupin

Mrs. Shirley Ann Toupin of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed in peace at the age of 82 on the morning of Monday, August 13, 2018.
Shirley was born in Newton, Massachusetts on November 9, 1935 to William and Pearle MacLeod.
She married her sweetheart, Edward Toupin on April 28, 1956 in Brighton, Massachusetts. A housewife and devoted military spouse, Shirley dedicated her life to the love and care of her husband, two daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a kind, caring, selfless woman with a wonderful sense of humor and giving spirit. An exceptional baker, she shared her talent by spreading joy and kindness making cakes for countless birthdays and events.
Shirley is predeceased by her parents, William and Pearle MacLeod, brothers, Edgar and William MacLeod, sister, Maxine Connaughton, and son-in-law, Clifton Woody.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Edward, daughters, Dona Woody and Debbra Toupin both of Gulf Breeze, FL, grandchildren Daniel Cassidy Sr. (Jenny) of Cantonment, FL, Ashley Adam (Adrian) of Picayune, MS, Clinton Woody (Stephanie) of Yuba City, CA, and Jordan Boucher (Justin) of Scituate, MA, great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Jaeliana, Daniel Jr., and Sophia. Also surviving are her sisters Gloria Poirer of Marlboro, MA, Joan Brewer (Gerald) of East Millinocket, ME, and sister-in-law Eleanor MacLeod of Gulf Breeze, FL along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Rose Lawn Funeral Home with a funeral service at 10:30 AM, followed by committal service at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola at 12:00 PM.
