Ronald Cole

     Mr. Ronald “Ron” (Sarge) Cole, 84, of Navarre, FL, died Monday, January 1, 2024.

     Funeral services will be 11 am, Friday, January 05, 2024, at Rose Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Archer officiating and Rose Lawn Funeral Home directing.  Graveside services will follow with full military honors at Rose Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time.

     Mr. Cole always wanted to be a pilot.  He never obtained his pilot license but did serve in the USAF and retired as an aircraft mechanic.  Ron had a kind spirit and always offered a helping hand to the homeless community. 

     Survivors include his wife, Odessa Merrit-Cole, Navarre, FL; also surviving are Pamela Latham and Randy Myers, Steve and Peggy Latham, Danny and Alandra Latham, Scott, and Jeff Latham; 6 grandkids and 15 great grandkids; sister-in-law, Myrna Steele (Joe Locke); stepchildren, Barbie Nims, Glenn Bryans; step-grandchildren, Majestic, Destiny, and Ashton; 1 step-great grandchild.
