Roger Warren

September 21, 1932 — May 3, 2016

Engineer, entrepreneur, volunteer, and loving husband and father, Roger Warren, 83, of Gulf Breeze passed away May 2, 2016 surrounded by his adoring family. With a Chem E degree from Georgia Tech, his wife Charlotte, and three small children in tow, Roger moved his family to Gulf Breeze in 1960. He worked at American Cyanamid for 10 years before leaving to start his own company, Happy Bear. He was part of Gulf Breeze Methodist for over 50 years, coach of farm league boys and trainer for Guardian Ad litem for many years. Roger was an accomplished artist and chess player, and enjoyed tennis and travel tremendously. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years Charlotte Warren, his son Alan ( Karen), daughters Cathy ( Steve) Charles, and Diane (Mark) Bosworth, seven grandchildren with 2 great grandchildren on the way. Memorial service will be held on Friday afternoon, May 6, in the Chapel of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. There will be a memorial visitation at 2pm and service at 3pm, with a short reception to follow.
