Robert Jackson

October 12, 1944 — March 15, 2017

Robert Allen Jackson, 72 of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Charles and Carmella Jackson (Vigliotti). Robert was raised and educated in Revere, Massachusetts and then proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Robert had a love for classic cars, golf, and good food. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his cherished family and friends.

Robert is survived by three children, Denise Levy and her husband James Levy of Destin, Florida, Cindy MacLean and her husband Paul MacLean of Westborough, Massachusetts, and Eric Jackson and his wife Dawn Jackson of Pensacola Florida; his beloved grandchildren Joey Paravate of Destin, Florida, Isabella and Michael MacLean of Westborough, Massachusetts, and Maxwell and Reece Jackson of Pensacola, Florida; his sister Barbara O'Brien of Casco, Maine, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Jackson Jr.

A visitation/viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze, Florida, 32563. A celebration of life will be held immediately following at Steve and Cheryl Jones's home in Tiger Point. Graveside services and burial, provided by Spadafora Funeral Home in Malden, Massachusetts, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Relatives and friends are respectively invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Horizons for Homeless Children, 1705 Columbus Avenue, Roxbury, MA 02119 or on-line at horizonschildren.org.
