Richard Lee Beazley, Jr. June 19, 1942 - August 16, 2008 Richard L. Beazley, Jr., our beloved husband, son, father, grandfather and brother, was taken much too soon on August 16, 2008 in Gulf Breeze, FL. Dick was born on June 19, 1942 in Baltimore, MD. He married Judith M. Dillon on August 21, 1964 and she survives him. Dick was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served his country with the U.S. Army. On January 1, 1997, he retired from Ford Motor Company as a Maintenance Supervisor in Saline, MI, after 30 years of service. Retirement for Dick meant helping people in RV parks & working. Dick enjoyed stock car racing, computers, fishing, karaoke and RVing in Navarre, FL. Surviving besides his wife, Judith, is his mother, Margery MacFarland, his children Lisa (Chris) Phillips, David (Dacia) Beazley and Kevin (Nicole) Beazley; his grandchildren Kevin, Kennedy, Adam, Garrett and Clare; two step-grandchildren Christen and George Phillips; two brothers, Robert Beazley and Thomas (Kappi) Beazley, and several nieces and nephews. Dick was predeceased by his father, Richard L. Beazley, Sr., his in-laws Benjamin and Ethel Dillon and his brother-in-law Doug Dillon. A service officiated by Pastor Ricky Wilson will be held at 12 pm Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seedlings - Braille Books for Children at P.O. Box 51924, Livonia, MI 48151 or www.seedlings.org.
