While at Chattahoochee, he was president of the Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. Paul's past time enjoyment included golf, traveling and yard work, but his favorite times were spent with his loving family, especially his adored granddaughters. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Pat Cowart; one devoted son, Todd (Annamarie) Cowart, 2 granddaughters, Isabella and Josephine Cowart all of Longview, TX; one sister, Mary Faye (Charles) Treese of Valdosta, GA; sister-in-law, Joy Ponds, of Columbus, MS; 4 nephews and 1 niece; special friend of almost 40 years, Willie Williams and a host of cousins and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th from 6 - 7:00 PM at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, FL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, at Barrancas National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Rev.
