Patricia Lasley

 Patricia Marie (Dolan) Lasley of Gulf Breeze FL went home to be the Lord January 22, 2016 at the age of 79. She was born on July 30, 1936 in Utica NY. She was preceded in death by her parents John P. and Rose Marie Dolan, sister-in-law Antoinette Dolan, and loving husband Edward F. Lasley. Pat received her registered Nursing degree attending Rochester School of Nursing and Marcy State Hospital’s School of Nursing in upstate New York. While at Marcy, she met her husband of 41 years, Edward F. Lasley, a young NY State Trooper. She worked as a surgical nurse at Faxton Hospital in Utica, before moving to psychiatric nursing at Marcy State Hospital. She retired in 1993 as Head Nurse of the juvenile care unit at Utica Psychiatric Center.
After retirement to Florida in 1995 with her husband, she remained very active, volunteering at Gulf Breeze Hospital and attending Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. Throughout her life she continued to be an avid reader. Among her favorite hobbies were birdwatching, gardening and music.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Robert Dolan (Sebastian, FL) son, Edward and wife Beverly Lasley (Weatherford, TX), daughter, Kathryn and husband Adan Paz (Las Vegas, NV) and grandchildren Matthew Kaczinski, Ashley Paz and Anthony Paz.
A time of visitation will be held in her honor on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Gulf Breeze from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a graveside service and burial in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, at 11:45 AM
