Ollie Genovese

Florence Williams Genovese, 92 of Mary Esther, FL passed away in Gulf Breeze, FL on May 27, 2017. Florence was born in Smithville, TN and after moving to Nashville worked for the Veterans Administration for 35 years then relocating to Mary Esther to be near her family.
Florence is survived by her son Joe Genovese, wife Sherry, her son Brad Fowler and grandchildren Paxton and Payton, daughter Kathy Kasch, granddaughter Carly Kasch and special friend Ada Bower.
Florence attended the Church of Christ in Ft Walton Beach for many years. Active in retirement she was a member of book clubs and playing cards with friends. She especially enjoyed membership and the many activities in H2U at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center. She loved politics and served as a poll worker in both Tennessee and Mary Esther.
The family would like to thank the staff of Gulf Breeze Courtyard for their care.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 17th at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, in Gulf Breeze. There will be a time of visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 AM followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
Because of her love of reading, donations may be made to the Mary Esther Library.
