Nancy Hiers

Carol Hiers, 69, unexpectedly left her Earthly home and entered her Heavenly home on June 18, 2012. Carol was born to Lee & Calsie Roberts on November 13, 1942 in Cleveland, OH and has resided in Gulf Breeze, FL for the past 33 years. She was a devoted wife & mother. She was a dedicated wife for 39 years, including being a full-time caregiver for her husband for 6 years prior to his death. She was a hero to her only daughter. She enjoyed fishing, gardening & spoiling a host of pets throughout her life. She was loyal & caring to both friends & family. She attended Calvary Chapel in Gulf Breeze. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Richard Davis (Ruth), & her husband, Robert Hiers. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Lee Hiers, her sister Glenda, two sisters-in-law, Betty Hiers & Peggy Hiers, & extended family. She will never be forgotten. Visitation will be at Coastline Calvary Chapel on Friday, June 22, 2012, beginning at 10:00 AM, with funeral services to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nancy Carol Hiers to Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), 752 NW Lovejoy Road, Ft. Walton Beach, FL 32548.
