Mary Walsh

Mary ( Ms. Mar-wee) Fisher Walsh passed away peacefully Nov 19th, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in San Diego, CA and moved to Pensacola as a child and remained until young adulthood. She met the love of her life and married , Victor Walsh, while he was stationed at Pensacola NAS. They then moved to Tallahassee and later returned to Pensacola in 1983. Mary leaves behind her children, Heather, Victor ( Buffy) and granddaughter Macy. Her brother Kenny ( Cheryl) Fisher. Numerous nieces, nephews and an endless number of friends. She touched so many people's lives, it would be impossible to name them all. She was a wonderful human being, who blessed us all with her generosity, open-mindedness and most importantly her capacity of unconditional love. Mary will be forever cherished for her quick laugh, wicked sense of humor and her big heart. She always had a smile, kind word and was a best friend to all she met. Mary fought hard and as long as she could, she just wanted to live, laugh and love with us all. A time of visitation with family and friends be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
