Mary Donaldson

Mary L. Donaldson returned home for Christmas on Sunday, December 3, 2017.

She entered this world on February 20, 1925 in Greenville, Alabama and was the last of five siblings to spread her wings and return to her heavenly family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. B., parents, Sam and Julia, sisters, Sarah and Peggy, brothers, Bill and James, daughter, Martha, and her granddaughter, Darla.

Mary leaves behind her four children, Brenda, Michael, Nancy and Julie, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

There will be a time of visitation and viewing at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, Gulf Breeze, on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 10 to 11:00 AM. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM followed by burial in Bayview Memorial Park, Pensacola. She will be laid next to her husband.

Christmas was Mary's favorite time of year. She would spend countless hours each day decorating her tree until it was perfect. In addition to Christmas, Mary also loved lollipops, baby dolls and puppy dogs. She was always full of life. Alzheimer disease faded her memory over the last few years and she desperately looked for her mama, daddy and twin sister.

She has found them. Merry Christmas Mama!
