Margaret Joan Morris

Navarre – Margaret “Joan” Mountifield Morris, 84 years old, wife of Pat Morris, entered into eternal rest, on April 13, 2023. Joan was born on November 2, 1938, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the youngest of six siblings: Dick Mountifield, Jerry Mountifield, Betty Mountifield, Bob Mountifield(Deceased) and Herald Mountifield (Deceased) and her cousin, Joan Anderson.

Joan was a member of the Community Life Center Church, Gulf Breeze, Florida. Mrs. Morris is survived by her daughter, Karen Bryant (Bobby Bryant, Jr.), grandson, Bobby Bryant III, great granddaughter Abbygail Bryant, great granddaughter, Adalyn Bryant, grandson, Patrick Bryant (Toni), great granddaughter London Bryant, great grandson Palmer Bryant, daughter Joni Grissom (Jeff), grandson, Jeffery Grissom, Jr.(Emily), great grandson, Jeffery Grissom III, great grandson, Jace Grissom, granddaughter, Jordan Luisi (Grant) and daughter Mitzi Morris.

Joan took great joy in her family and enjoyed cooking, famously known for her thanksgiving dressing. Faith and family were everything to her. Taking care of family was her mission in life and she did it with grace and love. She enjoyed walking through the neighborhood to meet her beloved neighbors and  was an avid tennis player in her younger years. She lives on forever in all our hearts. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish.” (John 10:27-28)

The family will be having a private service at a later date.
