Marcus Smith-Ndong

Marcus Shabaka Smith-NDong, 19, of Gulf Breeze passed away. Marcus was a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School Class of 2010 and he also attended Navarre High School where he played football and wrestled. Upon completion of high school he joined the Florida Army National Guard. He completed training at Ft. Jackson, SC, Ft. Lee, VA and then Ft. Benning, GA where he attended Airborne School. He was scheduled to attend college in the fall. He truly loved his family and caring for others. He has a passion for fitness and will be missed by many. Marcus is survived by his Mother, Yolanda Bryant; Step-Father, Harold Bryant I; Father, Clayton Marcus Smith; two Sisters, Jennifer Smith NDong and Jemya Smith; a Brother, Harold Bryant II; and his Grandmothers, Shirley Smith and Delores Alene. A private family Memorial Service will be held. Rose Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
