Madeline Thompson

Madeline M Thompson age 82 of Niceville died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at her home. She was a mother extraordinaire and a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Church. Madeline took a very active part in the Ladies Altar Society and running church bazaars for many years. She was a dedicated military wife and was known as Mom to the Tail Gunners Society. Madeline is survived by her husband Jack F Thompson, a son John (Cheryl) Thompson of Senoia, GA, brothers George L Lamirato, Bernard (Mary) Lamirato, Thomas (Danielle) Lamirato, sisters Margaret (William) Pitton, Theresa Lamirato, Frances Saltow and Josephine (Ralph) Santangelo along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Niceville Monday, February 23, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery Tuesday, February 24th at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church building fund, 1200 Valparaiso Blvd., Niceville, FL 32578.
