Lori Kay Therrell

Lori Kay Therrell of Gulf Breeze passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 62, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 21, 1963, in Bucyrus, Ohio to Brenda and William Harris. It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Lori Therrell, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Lori married John Therrell in 1996, and together they shared nearly 30 wonderful years. She was known for her warmth, radiant smile, and her open heart - qualities that touched everyone she met. Lori was passionate about many things especially animals, her family, and supporting the American Cancer Society.

Lori is survived by her beloved family: her husband, John; her daughters, Ashley Bloy (Aaron) and Madison Therrell; her son, Andrew Hammill (Bekah); her cherished granddaughter, Brooklyn; her mother, Brenda Harris; her sister, Kelly Pugh (Rick); and her brother, Mike Harris.

Lori’s kindness, steadfast love, and infectious laughter will be remembered by all whose lives she brightened. Though she is no longer with us, the legacy of her love and the memories shared with her will remain in our hearts forever.

A celebration of Lori’s life will be held sometime in the near future, with further details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pensacola Humane Society in Lori's name.
