Lance M. Carver, Jr., 66, of Navarre, Florida passed away September 22, 2024. Lance was born December 15, 1957 in Opelika, Alabama to the late Lance M. Carver and Mary Carver Moore. He grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and graduated from Holt High School in 1976. Lance served in the United States Air Force and then went on to retire from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. He loved anything to do with flying airplanes and fishing. Lance and his wife, Janet, moved to Navarre in 2017. He was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church where he served on the praise team, choir, sound team and was a fervent prayer warrior, loved by all who knew him. He truly loved the Lord and his church family.

In addition to his parents, Lance is preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Carver Green. He is survived by his wife, Janet Carver of Navarre, Fl; his sister, Marcia Ellis (Bob) of Anniston, AL; one son, Adam Carver (Stephanie) of Tuscaloosa, Al and grandchildren, Kaylee and Kail of Tuscaloosa, AL; step son, Joel Madison; step daughter Jessica McCorkle (Justin); and their children and grandchildren, Morgan Acker (Kaelyn) and Megan Acker.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 26 at 3:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Brunet officiating. Visitation will be held at 2 PM til service time. Interment will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later time.

In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
