Johnnie Swindell

Johnnie Keith Swindell October 18, 1952 – September 01, 2016 Johnnie Swindell, age 63 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 1st after a brave battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, John Swindell, Jr and his younger brother James Kevin Swindell. Johnnie was one of seven children born to John and Naomi Swindell. He grew up on Pensacola Beach, later lived in Gulf Breeze and then, Chicago for 25 years. He is survived by his mother, Naomi Swindell, sisters, Janice Hanks (Ralph), Jeanette Geri (John), June Collins (Tim), and brothers, Jerry Swindell (Wendy) and Jackie Swindell (Pat). Services will be held on Tuesday, September 06, 2016 in the chapel of Rose Lawn Funeral Home, Gulf Breeze, FL with a visitation beginning at 10:30 AM and a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to; The Youth Missionary Fund, First Baptist Church, 555 Fairpoint Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL 32561.
