John Wimble

John R. Wimble, 81, of Mary Esther died at his home, Wednesday May 7, 2008. John was a four year veteran of the U.S. Navy and a 24 year retiree of the U.S. Air Force during which time he received many awards. Survivors include his wife Mary Alice Wimble; Daughters Jacqueline Ann Terrell of Oxford, AL, Deborah Marie McCue of Copperas Cove, TX, Francis (Randy) Bates of Houston, TX, Cynthia (Neil) Alder of Ft. Worth, TX; son-in-law Pat Landman of Sherman, TX; Caregiver, Anthony "My Boy Tony" Sanders; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Hospice nurses Lori Barnes and Lisa Batson. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Friday May 9, 2008 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze with interment following at Barrancas National Cemetery with Military Honors. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ft. Walton on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 10:00am.
