Janet Mitchem

Janet D. Mitchem of Gulf Breeze, Florida went to her eternal heavenly home on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Janet was born in Pensacola, Florida on January 15, 1964 where she loved working in her yard with plants as well as being in and around water. Janet surrounded her family with her love and they will always have that love to sustain their lives. Her joyous smile and contagious love for life has left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Emily Eddins. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, James Mitchem, sons, Alan Flowers and Joey Lainez, step sons, Tony and Paul, brothers, Wesley and Raymond, sisters, Belinda and Donna, and seven grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, August 17th at Rose Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563, with visitation from 9 to 10:00 AM for the family, and they welcome friends to join them from 10 to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM with Bama Jordan officiating. Burial will follow the services in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to Rose Lawn Funeral Home.
