It is with great sadness that the family of James Leo Schulte, Jr. 75, of Milton, Florida, announce he peacefully passed away on April 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was drafted by President Richard Milhouse Nixon in 1969 and served in the United States Army for two years. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in 1987. He spent many years working in retail management before happily retiring.
He loved watching Michigan football games, spending the day on a pontoon boat, camping, listening to live music, traveling and spending time with family.
James was preceded in death by his father, James L. Schulte, Sr; mother, Mary Elizabeth Kiley; siblings, Esther (Sue) Welke, Beth Schulte, John Schulte, Barbara Schulte, Ann Harraf, Mary Warner and Eva Schulte.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Pamela; his wonderful children, Danielle (Bobby) Clark, Christina Watson, James (Kellie) Schulte, Brittany (Eric) Novak and Tyler Schulte; grandchildren, Emily, Addison, Chloe, Gavin, Kyle, Leo and Poppy; brother-in-law, John Harraf along with several nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will be held on a future date by the family.
