In Loving Memory of James Cureton Robinson

June 30, 1952 – August 21, 2025

James Cureton Robinson, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was born on June 30, 1952, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and passed away on August 21, 2025. He grew up in Charlotte, where he built a life filled with love and dedication before moving to Florida to enjoy retirement with his beloved wife, Terrie Lyons-Robinson.

James was a man of profound commitment, devoted to both his family and his work. Known for his boundless generosity, he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him with his kindness and warmth. In his retirement, James found joy in walking the Navarre Pier, cherishing the peaceful moments by the water with Terrie.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Stevens; his father, James Robinson Sr.; and his brother, Sammy Seagraves. James is survived by his loving wife, Terrie Lyons-Robinson; his daughters, Renea Crookshanks (husband James) and Christina Herms (husband Mike); his son, James Robinson III (Andrea); his sister, Martha Lee (husband Bobby); his cherished grandchildren, Brayden, Lucas, Morgan, Grayson, Victoria, Matthew, Brittany, and Cassidy; and many adored great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at their home on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A visitation will be held in North Carolina, with details to be announced soon.

James’ legacy of love, selflessness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of his family and all who were touched by his generous spirit.

Rest in Peace, James Cureton Robinson.
