Irene Barbour Thomas 1923-2008 Irene Barbour Thomas, age 84, passed away July 29, 2008. She was a resident of Pasadena, Texas since 1996 after moving there from Pensacola, FL. She is predeceased by her first husband, Dale Barbour, and her mother, Mae Cameron. Family members include her husband of twelve years: Laymon Thomas of Pasadena, TX; her children: William (Judy) Barbour of Jacksonville, FL, Patricia (Michael) Duncan of Pensacola, FL, and John (Angela) Barbour of Pensacola, FL; her sisters and brother: Arvilla (John) Saludis and Josephine Alobaidi of Pearland, TX, Wayne (Sharon) Cameron of Bandera, TX; her eight grandchildren: Dale Barbour, Greg Smith, Doug Barbour, Brian Duncan, David Anderson, Leah Duncan, Kevin Anderson, Elizabeth Barbour, and her four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 9:30am in the chapel at Pensacola Memorial Gardens in Pensacola, FL with Pastor Brian Barlow officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, August 2, 2008 from 8:30am - 9:30am at the chapel. The arrangements are under the care and direction of Rose Lawn Funeral Home.
