Huel Morgan

Huel A. Morgan, age 70, of Gulf Breeze passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Mr. Morgan was a native of Birmingham, AL and lived in Gulf Breeze for the past 6 years. He served our country as a US Marine and thereafter devoted his life to providing for his family. Huel worked as a metallurgist for many years and eventually relocated his family to Madison, Connecticut where he owned a heat treating business for 15 years before retiring to Gulf Breeze. Mr. Morgan is survived by Patsy, his wife of 49 years, his daughter Melissa Morgan of Gulf Breeze and sons Tim Morgan of Gulf Breeze and Matt Morgan of Long Island, NY, his two grandchildren Jessica and Jake, whom he adored. He is also survived by his sister Peggy (Lindsey) Oden of Pinson, AL,a brother Ricky (Barbara) Morgan of Birmingham, AL and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Huel will be best remembered for his humor, his love of country music, westerns and Alabama football. Memorial Service will be held at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
