Frank Vito Dadabo passed away peacefully at Gulf Breeze Hospital on December 15, 2025.
He was the beloved father of Joseph and (Michele) Dadabo of Gulf Breeze, Dorothy Najarian of Pensacola and Nancy and (Artie) Bryson of Hopewell Junction, New York, grandfather of Allisa and (Chris) Shearman, Catherine and (Eric) Bryson Eyring, Jo Jo and (Emilie) Dadabo, Candace and (Anthony) Romano, great-grandfather of Olivia and Orion Dadabo, Bryson and Bianca Romano, Arthur Eyring and Enzo Dadabo. Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years, Catherine Healy Dadabo and his beloved grandson, Alexander Najarian.
Frank was born on June 3, 1929 in the Bronx, New York where he and Catherine lived and raised their children until 1974 when they moved to Lake Carmel, New York. Frank was employed and retired from the New York City Department of Sanitation. In 1995, Frank and Catherine retired to Gulf Breeze, Florida. Frank was a steadfast animal lover, who never bypassed an animal orphaned or in need, most often taking them home. He was devoted to his family and a friend to all.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Pensacola Humane Society.
The Dadabo family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation for the loving and expert care Frank received at the Bay Breeze Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility and for the kindness and support afforded our family.
Frank’s family will receive visitors on Friday, January 9, 2026 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Gulf Breeze, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., graveside service following at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
