Ernest Shaw

Ernest Ronald Shaw, Retired USAF MSgt, went to be with his Lord on November 3, 2025. Ernie was born on May 8, 1931 in Le Roy, Iowa. He had 1 brother and 1 sister. Upon his graduation from high school, he joined the USAF where he spent 26 years serving our country. He met the love of his life, Josephine Willis, while stationed at San Angelo, TX. They were married in September 1959. He had 1 daughter, Tera, who was the light of his life. His last assignment was at Hurlburt Field where he retired from the USAF. He worked another 16 years as a civilian employee at Eglin AFB. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Shaw, daughter, Tera Lewis, 3 grandchildren, Christopher Castellanos, Erika Mace, and Travis Taylor. He also had 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. on November 7, 2025. Funeral services will be held with military honors at 2:00 p.m. on November 7, 2025, at Rose Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery in Gulf Breeze, FL.
