Elmer Couture

Elmer A. Couture, age 80, of Roseville, passed away Saturday - December 29, 2012 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Mr. Couture was born on March 22, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to Edward Couture and Kathryn Couture (nee: Hienicke). On May 30, 1953 Elmer August "Al" Couture married Nancy B. Williams in Ferndale, Michigan. They raised six children who survive them: Randy (CarolAnn) Couture of Roseville, Michigan; Kelly (Nancy) Couture of Magnolia, Arkansas; Robin (Sandra) Couture of Mena, Arkansas; Sherry (Edwin) Phelps of Magnolia, Arkansas; Kathy (Greg) Chase of Roseville, Michigan and Richard (Kris) Couture of Mena, Arkansas. Also surviving are Al's two sisters, Rita (Gene) Gall and Sally Juhl; and brother, Johnny Couture; twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-seven great-grandchildren. Al was pre-deceased by his parents, Kathryn & Edward Couture, his wife, Nancy (October 14, 2012), sister, Marie Winters and brother, Arthur Couture. There will be a visitation held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 11:00 - 1:00 PM to be followed by burial in Heritage Gardens Cemetery in Niceville, FL 32578 at 2:00 PM.
