Elisabeth Cole

Elisabeth M. Cole (51) of Gulf Breeze, FL, after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2017, with her family gathered close. Longing for peace and rest, she left this world weary from the fight and landed in the arms of Jesus, being made completely whole again.

She was a loving mother, a caring daughter, an extraordinary sister and aunt, a treasured friend, and an angel on earth. If you ever had the good fortune to cross her path, your day was brightened by her smile and infectious giggle. She was always quick to lend a hand or offer a shoulder - she made everyone around her feel better. Her zest for life was contagious, and her spirit will live on in those she loved. Lisa's sweet, sweet soul will be missed like no other.

Lisa is survived by her life partner and soulmate, Mark McKinney, who loved, comforted, and cared for her ever so gently until Lisa's last breath. She was a very proud mom and is survived by her two wonderful sons whom she loved more than life itself: Scott Durbin and Blake McKinney. She also left behind her sisters Andrea Peach and Jamie Kopf, mom Heidi Lorenz, a niece, 3 nephews, and a whole host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father James Kopf and little brother, Eduard Richardson.

A memorial service in Lisa's honor will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze on Friday, June 23, 2017 with visitation at noon, service at 1:00.
