Dr Cote

Andre Cote of Gulf Breeze, FL and Columbia, MO passed away peacefully in Pensacola, FL with his wife Loretta Sue Cote at his side. He will be remembered with great love and admiration by all who knew him. In addition to his wife he is survived by five brothers, Raymond, Roland (Jeanette), Albert (Pauline), Gerald (Annette) and John Cote, and his sister Jeanne Robey (Joe) and many nieces and nephews all in Maine. Also survived by four children, James Tharp, Tamara Pann (Steve), Teresa Puckett (Lin), Tina James (Sam), five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Normand Cote and his parents Alcide and Florence Cote. Private family memorial services will be held in Saco, ME and Columbia MO. His early education years were in Maine. His Bachelor of Arts degree was from La Mennias College, his Masters degree from Catholic University and doctoral degree from St. Louis University. He served as Academic Vice President of several private colleges during his career, retiring from William Woods University in 1997. He received many academic honors during his education and career. In retirement, the Cotes enjoyed entertaining family and friends and traveling the world.
