Douglas Craig Wood, 80, of Gulf Breeze, FL, died on April 30, 2025, in Pensacola, FL.

Doug was born, May 06, 1944, in Terre Haute, IN, to Kenneth and Frances Wood. Doug grew up in Anderson, IN and attended Indiana State College in Terre Haute, IN, where he met his wife, Carolyn. They relocated to FL in 1969, where Doug excelled in metal sales. Doug and Carolyn settled in Gulf Breeze, FL in 1976 and remained until his passing. Doug loved his family, reunions with aunts, uncles, and cousins; he also loved fishing, and lobstering trips to the Keys.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Frances Wood; maternal grandparents, C.D. and Florence Shaul; paternal grandparents, Louise and Ottiwell Wood.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Wood; son, Kenneth Douglas Wood (Wendi); daughters, Stephanie McMullen (Stephen); Amy Moses (Dave); grandchildren, Kendall McMullen (Seth Keeling), Jackson Moses, Justin Blalock (Tara), Jacob Blalock (Peyton); great grandchildren, Braden Butler, Wyatt Blalock and Miller Ann Blalock.

Private memorial services were held June 06, 2025, with Rev. Jack Kale officiating.
