Donnie Alfred

Donnie Bell Alfred, age 76 of Pensacola passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014. Donnie always had a smile and a hug for everyone who walked up on her porch and she loved to fish. Every time she passed a puddle she'd say, I wonder if it has any bream in it. She was a Harley Mama and loved riding with the motorcycle group, all of whom she loved dearly. Even when driving a long boring stretch of interstate, Donnie would say that she saw trees that she'd never seen before. Mom always tried to remember everyone's birthday even if it was just a card. Whether people felt it was right or wrong, Mom loved her beer. Even when she was cooking she had a can of beer, in a koozy, in the kitchen cabinet and would take sips from it. No one ever left Mom's house hungry, or without a hug and kiss, even if it was her first time meeting them. A time of visitation will be held for Donnie on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, Gulf Breeze from 10 to 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial in Rose Lawn Cemetery will follow the services.
