Donald "Don" Wiedeman

Donald Earl Wiedeman, 77, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away May 7, 2024.  He was born July 18, 1946, in Oneonta, New York to the late John Wiedeman and Wanda March Wiedeman.  

It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved husband and father, Don Wiedeman.  He was a resident of Gulf Breeze, Florida for 6 years and lived in Meridian, Mississippi prior for over 40 years where he was stationed at NAS in the United States Navy.  He met his beautiful wife in Meridian and raised their 2 children.  Don worked for Meridian Machine as a Quality Control Inspector for 25 years.  He enjoyed socializing with all of their friends as a member of their local Moose Lodge and Phi Delta Kappa fraternity.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Wiedeman; sister, Linda Silak; brother, Randy Wiedeman and brother, John Dennis Wiedeman.

Don is survived by his wife, Ann Jones Wiedeman of Gulf Breeze; son, Chris (Mary) Wiedeman of Gulf Breeze; daughter, Judy (Don) Crawford of Gainesville, Georgia; brother, Jimmy Wiedeman of Oneonta, New York; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors.
