David John
Conrey
Oct 5, 1996 — Jul 5, 2026
David John Conrey, age 29, lost his life on July 5, 2026.
David was born on October 5, 1996, in Pensacola, Florida. He grew up in Gulf Breeze, Florida.
David was the sweetest child, always caring and always wanted to share everything. As an adult, he had the same huge heart. He wouldn’t hesitate to stop to speak to or help someone in need.
David was a free spirit who loved riding Harleys. He lived for the freedom and ultimately lost his earthly life while riding, but his spirit definitely lives on.
He was an old soul who loved older music; especially The Doors and The Grateful Dead. This was his greatest common interest that he shared with his brother Sean. David loved to play the guitar and could pick up a tune quickly. He’s also written several songs.
He had many other interests including collecting memorabilia, welding, fixing things, skateboarding, and fishing, amongst others. He also had so much love for his dogs.
David loved his “biker look” with his long hair and attire. We would do anything to hear him walking in those boots again! He often felt misunderstood, but just this year he found acceptance and love. He passed at the happiest and healthiest time of his adult life. He had so many plans.
As his family, we like to imagine that he is now riding free in Heaven with a girl on the back of his bike, on the way to see a Grateful Dead concert. We will forever miss his smile and laugh.
“Turn on your love light, let it shine on me.”
David is survived by his mom, Tracey (Curtis); dad Tom; brother, Sean; Carter; grandmom, Diane James; aunts Tammy, Tara, and Bernadette (Pat); uncles Carlos, Ron (Jan), and Joe; cousins Alex (Sam), CJ, Zoey, Zeplin, Skylar, Autumn (Zaylen), Eric, John, Monica, Joey, and Nick; his friends and coworkers who loved him; and his furbabies Rosie, Boo, and Belle.
