Constance Joan Cadwallader

Constance Joan Cadwallader also known as Connie, passed away on January 28th, 2024,

in Homewood, Alabama at the age of 92.   She was born in Hempstead, New York on Long Island.  She graduated from Hempstead High School. 

In her younger years, Connie worked as a Radio City Rockette and had a passion for ballet and tap,

which she studied for many years. Connie worshipped at St Mary’s on the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama and earlier at St Ann’s Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Connie was a fun-loving woman, who enjoyed entertaining, cooking, dancing, flower arranging and laughter. She found joy in these activities throughout her life. She had a deep love for people, dogs and her family.  

Connie is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Debbie)Wadsworth, and her son in law, James (Jim), and her little dog, Poppy.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur William (Bill), her oldest daughter Cheryl Kuhn, and son in law, Steve Kuhn.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 5th at 2:00PM at the Barrancas National  

Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel with Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze assisting with the burial arrangements.
