Cleo Engler

Cleo A Engler, age 97, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 in Pensacola, Florida. She was born in Laurel, MS in 1916, upon graduating from Walton High School in DeFuniak Springs, FL she moved to Pensacola and has resided there since 1935. Cleo was employed by Sears for twelve years, and then as a military service wife, she worked overseas on many AFB Bases. Upon returning to Pensacola, Cleo worked as a buyer for children's wear for the Gayfers Department Store located in the Town & Country Plaza. She later retired in 1989 from the Gayfers Cordova Store. Mrs. Engler served as a past President of the Pilot Club of Pensacola as was active in many civic undertakings including; Cancer Society, Heart Association, and Council on Aging. A graveside funeral service for Cleo will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM in Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery, Pensacola, FL where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
