Charles "Chuck" Meister

Charles Lewis (Chuck) Meister 1/1/1936 – 3/2/2025, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend was born in Fargo, ND to Walter Helmut and Alice Topping Meister.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jeannette; sons, Mark (Karen), and Matt (Suzanne); Grandchildren, Brian (Natalie), Adam (Kelley), Daniel (Katie), Hannah (Sean), and Lacy (Jarrett) and 6 great grandchildren.

After graduating from the University of Florida, Civil Engineering, he worked on many projects ranging from launch pads at Kennedy Space Center to Walt Disney World. He went on to establish Meister & Associates Consulting Engineers in Pensacola, completing numerous projects before accepting the position of City Engineer and Public Works Director in Destin, FL in 1995. He retired in 2008 to enjoy life.

Along the way, Chuck was involved in countless programs with the Gulf Breeze Rotary Club and Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
