Charles Lovegrove
July 25, 1937 — February 9, 2024
Charles J. Lovegrove, age 86, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024. He was born in Portsmouth, VA on July 25, 1937.
He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and joined the United States Army upon graduation. Charles served his entire career in Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, New Jersey. He was a member of Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church for over 20 years and was a member of the fix it crew. Charles had been married to his wife, Dorothy Henderson Lovegrove for 4 years.
Interment with military honors will be in Barrancas National Cemetery on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
A Memorial Service will be held at Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Pastors Bill Lamont and Robert Price officiating with a reception to follow.
